Death Note (デスノート Desu Nōto?) is a series of three live-action Japanese films released in 2006 and based on the Death Note manga and anime series by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The films primarily center on a university student who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it.
The series is about Light Yagami, an extremely intelligent young man who hates the crime and corruption in the world. His life changed drastically when he discovered a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written in it, that person shall die. At first, Light doesn’t believe it. But after knowing that it was real, Light starts to use it. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a shinigami (Death God) named Ryuk, Light decided to become "the God of the New World" by killing the people whom he believe a criminal.
Soon, the number of unpredictable deaths of the criminals catches the attention of the ICPO and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer did by the civilian as "Kira" ("Kira" yaken from the Japanese pronunciation of the word "killer"). He also knows that Kira lived in
It's no wonder why the live-action movie Death Note, based on the manga (comic), hit so big in
Death Note gives a different horror movie. It's a type of movie that I guess most people could watch and be entertained by it. I found the film to be extremely entertaining and well as I really enjoy all the “bizarre” stuff in it and the cleverness of it. It also has a lot of unpredictable scene. It might too Japanese at times. The actor and actress of the film also did it good. They acted very well. The film’s effect is also great. Still, you have to “think” cause Death Note” has a strong dialogue. Yet, it stills a great film.
Death Note is an awesome film and you should check it out. So get away from "
